Some sessions just feel like sunshine—and this one was every bit of that. When Luna and her mama showed up in the sweetest matching dresses, I knew we were in for a beautiful shoot. From the very first click of the camera, this little girl lit up the entire park with her bright personality and infectious smile.


Luna came ready to shine—and let me tell you, she did just that. Every pose she struck felt effortless, natural, and full of her own little flair. She was the perfect tiny model, and her joy was absolutely contagious.


One of the cutest details? A tiny moon “tattoo” on her wrist—just a playful touch her mom added before the session, but it fit her perfectly. Her name is Luna, after all! Little things like that are what make these Mommy and Me sessions so personal and memorable.


We started our photo session in Waxahachie on a charming wooden bridge, capturing some soft, candid moments as they walked and played. From there, we wandered through wildflowers and let the color and movement of nature fill the frame. The giggles between these two were real and constant, and it was such a joy to document the bond they clearly share.


Then we headed to an open field—one of my favorite places for sessions like this. There, Luna twirled, ran, and leaned into all the freedom childhood brings, while her mama laughed and joined in.
